Dr. Abhishek Agrawal Attends International Day of Reflection on the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda

New Delhi, India – Dr. Abhishek Agrawal, Director, Asperia Hospital, was invited to attend the 32nd Commemoration of the International Day of Reflection on the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda, held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The event was organized by the High Commission of the Republic of Rwanda in India in collaboration with the United Nations in India.

The commemoration brought together members of the diplomatic corps, international organizations, and distinguished guests to honour the memory of the victims of the 1994 genocide and to reaffirm a collective commitment to peace, dignity, and the prevention of such atrocities.

The solemn ceremony featured reflections on the historical significance of the genocide, alongside Rwanda’s remarkable journey of resilience, reconciliation, and nation-building over the past three decades. The discussions underscored the importance of remembrance as a means of fostering global awareness and reinforcing shared human values.

Dr. Agrawal’s presence at this significant international observance reflects Asperia Hospital’s commitment to principles that extend beyond clinical excellence—compassion, ethical responsibility, and respect for human dignity. Participation in such global forums highlights the institution’s belief that healthcare leaders have an important role to play in advancing not only health, but also humanity.

Asperia Hospital continues to uphold these values as it moves toward becoming a centre of excellence in patient care and community impact.
