Our Directors Invited as Faculty at Inaugural ATLS Course by American College of Surgeons at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital
New Delhi, India – We are delighted to share that our directors, Dr. Abhishek Agrawal and Dr. Pranati Sharma, had the honor of being invited as faculty to the inaugural Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) course, organized by the ATLS India Chapter under the aegis of the American College of Surgeons (ACS). Held from May 1st to 3rd, 2025, at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, this landmark event marked a significant step forward in trauma care education in India.
The internationally acclaimed ATLS course equips doctors with a structured, evidence-based approach to trauma management, emphasizing rapid assessment, life-saving interventions, and prioritized treatment within the critical “golden hour.” Over three intensive days, participants engaged in interactive discussions, hands-on skill stations, and simulation-based scenarios designed to enhance trauma response and decision-making in high-pressure environments.
This inaugural course represents a milestone in strengthening trauma care education across the region. Our directors’ participation reflects Asperia hospital’s commitment to advancing medical education and building a robust frontline of trauma responders.
